These general terms of use and sale (the "Terms") govern the use of the Androria website and apps (the "Platform") by anyone who visits it or buys on it (the "Buyer" or "you"). They are available in French and English; both versions have the same value. You can save and print them at any time.

1. Who we are

The Platform is published by Androria, SARL with a share capital of 1000000 FCFA, registered with the RCCM under number CM-NSI-01-2026-B12-00344, taxpayer number (NIU) M032618495960W, head office at Yaoundé, Cameroun. Contact: [email protected] – +237 69 807 45 25. Full details are in the Legal notice.

2. Androria's role

  • Androria is a marketplace: it connects Buyers with independent shops (the "Sellers") that list their products on it. Androria does not itself sell the products offered.
  • The sales contract is concluded between you and the Seller. The shop's identity is shown on each product page, on its shop page and on your order.
  • Androria provides the matchmaking service, protected payment (escrow), order tracking, messaging, customer service and dispute mediation, as described below.

3. Your account

  • You must have legal capacity to contract to create an account and order. A minor may only order under the responsibility of their legal guardian.
  • Your account information (name, email, phone, delivery addresses) must be accurate and up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and, where applicable, your withdrawal PIN confidential. Tell us immediately about any unauthorised use.
  • You can delete your account from your settings. Ongoing orders, open disputes and any wallet balance not withdrawn must be settled first; data the law requires us to keep is kept for the legal period (see the Privacy policy).
  • Androria may suspend or close an account in case of fraud, unlawful use or serious breach of these Terms, after informing you, except in an emergency or where the law requires otherwise.

4. Products, prices and information

  • Each Seller is responsible for the description, photos, legal compliance and price of its products.
  • Prices are shown in CFA francs (FCFA), all taxes included (VAT at the applicable rate, currently 19.25%, where it applies). Delivery fees are shown separately before you confirm the order.
  • An obvious pricing error (a derisory price unrelated to the product's value) cannot bind the Seller; you are then informed and the order is cancelled and refunded.
  • Second-hand, refurbished or defective products must be identified as such by the Seller.

5. Placing an order

  1. You add products to the cart (or buy directly from the product page).
  2. At checkout you choose the delivery address and method, then the payment method, and apply a promo code or your points if you wish.
  3. A summary shows the products, each price, delivery fees, discounts and the total to pay. You can correct your order before confirming it.
  4. The order is concluded when you confirm it and the payment succeeds (or, for cash on delivery, when the order is confirmed). An acknowledgement is sent to you by email and in your account.
  5. An order from several shops is split into sub-orders, one per Seller.

Orders agreed in the chat. A Seller may offer you an order in the conversation (items, agreed price, delivery fee, address, incoterm, shipping date). It only binds you once you confirm it; it then becomes an ordinary Androria order governed by these Terms (protected payment, tracking, disputes). An unconfirmed offer expires after 7 days.

6. Payment and Buyer protection

  • Payment methods: those shown at checkout (including Mobile Money, bank card when offered, Androria wallet, cash on delivery when the shop and area allow it). Payments are processed by our payment provider: Fapshi.
  • Protected payment (escrow): for an online payment, the amount is not paid to the Seller when you order. It is held until the end of the protection period of 3 days after delivery ([to be completed] hour(s) for a digital product), then paid to the Seller if no dispute is open. A dispute opened during this period blocks the funds until it is resolved. You can still open a dispute for 15 days after delivery, even if the Seller has already been paid (see article 10).
  • Cash on delivery: where offered, only the delivery fee is paid online; the rest is handed directly to the courier or the Seller. That sum does not go through Androria and is not covered by protected payment: Androria can neither hold it, refund it nor handle a dispute about it. This choice is at your own risk; your legal rights against the Seller remain intact and are settled directly with them. To be protected, we recommend paying online, even when cash on delivery is available.
  • Your order's delivery code must only be given to the courier when the parcel is actually handed over: entering it confirms delivery.
  • Cash on delivery: you pay the amount shown when the parcel is handed over; delivery fees may be requested online when you order.
  • Fraud or unauthorised use of your payment method: report it without delay to your operator or bank and to our customer service. You are not bound by a transaction made without your identification.

7. Delivery

Delivery areas, times and fees are stated on the product page and at checkout, and detailed in our Delivery policy. If the Seller cannot deliver on the agreed date, you are informed and may cancel the order and be refunded in full.

8. Right of withdrawal, returns and refunds

  • Under Law No. 2010/021 of 21 December 2010 governing electronic commerce in Cameroon, you have 15 days from the day after you receive goods to withdraw, without giving a reason. Return costs are then borne by you, unless the product is non-compliant or defective.
  • Legal exceptions: personalised products or products made to your specifications, perishable products or products that cannot be shipped back, unsealed audio or video recordings and software, newspapers and magazines, services performed before the end of the period with your agreement.
  • Non-compliant, damaged or late product: you may return it within 15 days of delivery and be refunded.
  • How: from your order, "Report a problem / return". The Seller is invited to the case and Androria mediation follows it. Refunds are paid into your Androria wallet within 15 days of receipt of the returned product; you can then request a withdrawal.
  • Details are in the Returns and refunds policy.

9. Legal guarantees

Sellers are bound by the legal guarantees of Framework Law No. 2011/012 of 6 May 2011 on consumer protection, in particular the guarantee against hidden defects (repair, replacement or refund at the Seller's expense). Nothing in these Terms limits these guarantees.

10. Disputes and mediation

  • For 15 days after delivery, open a dispute from the order (reason, description, photos). The Seller may offer a refund or a replacement; you can accept, refuse or request Androria mediation, which may decide the case.
  • A refund decided is paid into your Androria wallet whether or not the Seller has already been paid: in the latter case, Androria recovers the amount from the Seller's balance. Digital products can be disputed during their protection period.
  • After this period, contact customer service: we help you assert your rights with the Seller, in particular under the warranty against hidden defects.
  • In any event you keep the right to contact consumer associations, the competent appeal committees or the courts.

11. Messaging, reviews and content

  • Messaging is for exchanges related to your purchases. Messages may be read by Androria to mediate a dispute, for security and to fight fraud; they may be used as evidence.
  • Your reviews must reflect a real experience. Unlawful, abusive or misleading content, or content containing contact details meant to bypass the Platform, is forbidden and may be removed. See the Community rules.
  • You grant Androria, for as long as they are published, a free licence to display your reviews and photos on the Platform.

12. Prohibited uses

You must not: commit or attempt fraud (payments, returns, promo codes, referral, points); pay or be paid outside the Platform for an order concluded on it; extract data in bulk; harm the Platform's operation or security; impersonate anyone.

13. Points, referral and coupons

Androria Points, coupons and referral benefits are governed by the Loyalty programme terms. They have no monetary value outside the Platform and cannot be exchanged for money.

14. Androria wallet

The wallet (top-up, payment, refunds, PIN-secured withdrawals) is governed by the Payments and wallet terms.

15. Liability

  • Androria is liable for its own obligations: the operation of the Platform, holding funds during the protection period, handling the disputes submitted to it and protecting your data.
  • The Seller is liable for the products it sells (compliance, safety, legal guarantees, delivery when it handles it).
  • Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you hold under the law; any contrary clause is deemed unwritten.

16. Personal data and cookies

How we process your data is described in the Privacy policy and our use of trackers in the Cookie policy.

17. Communications

We send you the messages needed for your orders (confirmation, tracking, disputes). You only receive promotional messages (newsletter) after giving your consent; each message contains an unsubscribe link. Notification preferences are set in your account.

18. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms to follow changes to the Platform or the law. The new version is published with its date and shown to you at your next login: it applies to orders placed after you accept it. Ongoing orders remain governed by the version accepted when they were placed.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Cameroonian law. Before any action, we invite you to contact customer service to look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute may be brought before the competent court under ordinary rules; you keep the benefit of the protective rules of your country of residence. No arbitration is imposed on you.
