These terms describe protected payment (escrow) and the Androria wallet. Funds are processed by our payment provider: Fapshi.
1. Protected payment (escrow)
- An online payment is not paid to the Seller when you order: it is held while the order is processed.
- It is paid to the Seller automatically at the end of the protection period of 3 days after delivery ([to be completed] hour(s) for a digital product), if no dispute is open. Delivery is evidenced by entering the delivery code you give to the courier.
- A dispute opened during this period blocks the funds until it is resolved; a refund decided is taken from those funds.
- After the Seller has been paid, you can still open a dispute for 15 days after delivery: a refund decided is paid to your wallet by Androria and then recovered from the Seller's balance.
- Cash on delivery: where offered, only the delivery fee is paid online; the rest is handed directly to the courier or the Seller. That sum does not go through Androria and is not covered by protected payment: Androria can neither hold it, refund it nor handle a dispute about it. This choice is at your own risk; your legal rights against the Seller remain intact and are settled directly with them. To be protected, we recommend paying online, even when cash on delivery is available.
2. The Androria wallet
- The wallet receives your refunds and can be topped up by Mobile Money. It is used to pay for your orders on the Platform.
- The balance is not a bank deposit and earns no interest.
- You can request a withdrawal of your balance to your Mobile Money account. Withdrawals are secured by your PIN (or a code sent by email); any fees and the timeframe are shown before you confirm.
- Every movement (top-up, payment, refund, withdrawal) appears in your wallet history.
3. Security and unauthorised transactions
- Never share your PIN, your password or your delivery code before the parcel is handed over.
- Report any transaction you did not authorise without delay to customer service and your operator. You are not bound by a transaction made without your identification.
- Androria may suspend a transaction or account to prevent fraud or meet a legal obligation (in particular anti-money-laundering), informing you unless the law forbids it.
4. Points and coupons
Androria Points and coupons are not part of the wallet balance and cannot be converted into money (see the Loyalty programme terms).
