For everyone's safety and to comply with the law, some products are prohibited on Androria and others may only be sold under conditions. Sellers are responsible for their products' compliance; Androria removes listings that breach this policy.
1. Prohibited products
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives and their parts; unauthorised fireworks.
- Narcotics, psychotropic substances and equipment for their use.
- Medicines, including over-the-counter ones, without the required authorisations; unapproved medical devices.
- Counterfeits, copies and products infringing others' rights (see the Intellectual property policy).
- Protected animal and plant species, ivory and poached products.
- Official documents, identity documents, forged documents, personal data.
- Pornographic content, content involving minors, content inciting hatred or violence.
- Stolen or unlawfully obtained products; recalled or dangerous products not meeting applicable standards.
- Unauthorised financial, currency exchange, gambling or credit services.
2. Products subject to conditions
- Food and drinks: compliance with hygiene, use-by date and labelling rules.
- Cosmetics and hygiene products: compliant composition and labelling; sealed products.
- Electrical and telecommunications equipment: compliance with required standards and approvals.
- Second-hand or refurbished products: clearly identified as such.
- Products requiring instructions: instructions in French and English for dangerous products.
3. Sanctions
A non-compliant listing is removed. Depending on severity or repetition, the shop may be warned, suspended or closed, and the authorities informed where the law requires.
